As the title indicates, yes I got the employment contract already. It was last week and I have signed and submitted to HR 2 days ago. Salary was as discussed. There was a tiny increment but still I am happy with my new salary
No longer can say I am underpaid… I guess I have to really put in more effort in other areas other than just programming…
Anyway, it’s not the perm position that I am so happy… It’s more like finally my effort has been recognised… I really can’t ‘sell’ myself well that’s why career have been stagnant. This time round is different, working under Larry is great. I see recognition in the hard work I put in; like previously I got some award of $100 voucher for some IT-Shine. Well, The endless OTs, burning my weekends is no joke especially when it’s my first time working like this… I kind of willing to do so partly cos i respect Stephen and willing to work for him. Oh ya, I like his way of handling issues, he always focus on how to get things done rather than pinpoint who is in the fault… something which is lacking in alot of people! I guess as your rank goes higher, people tend to be defensive and gets agitated when people says their project or system got problem…
