Ingredients never to use when baking for dogs

I always know dogs shouldn’t take sugar but I saw some recipe using brown sugar but WHY? Why is it allowed? Question

Anyway, most biscuits or treats sold in the pet shop contains salt and sugar as one of their ingredients? This keep me so confuse. When people say dogs shouldn’t take this and that, but still it is commonly found in their food? Question

Here I have consolidated those ingredients that people should never use when baking for dogs. I dunno how true they are, but isn’t it better be safe than sorry. This post will serve as a reminder for myself to avoid these ingredients as far as possible. Don’t be surprise, there are many recipes out there that use nutmeg, garlic, baking powder or baby food that claims to be harmful here. Thinking

Black Pearl Mask

Black Pearl Mask
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

Second mask from My Beauty Diary.

Rated No. 1 in their official website. This mask is also highly raved by many people for it’s whitening effect but many mention you have to use this few times to see the result.

My review? Truly Disappointed!

I tried this mask twice last week. Felt disappointed because my skin felt the same before and after. Not at all was it soften, firm or anything… I just don’t feel anything Side Frown

Perhaps this mask is really more for whitening and 2 is just not enough to see results Sweat

Baking my first cake for dogs

It’s Cue Cue’s 1st birthday and I baked a cake specially for her. Yeah, I guess it’s considered a success though there are many flaws in it. Hmmm after all this is my first time… the most obvious problem is that the cream cheese wasn’t nicely spread, cake wasn’t really nicely stack… but at least it taste good and humans ate half of it Grin

Initially, I wanted to order a cake for her because Can Can had one on her 1st birthday too, but seems like many blogshop that does cakes for dogs had closed down. I didn’t want to order from the gal who does the durian treats and Can Can’s 1st birthday cake because of some hygiene reasons. Well… we found lots of long hair in her cake and this is so disappointing! US Doggy Bakery is a big NO NO. I simply cannot trust what other people put in the cake and with this kind of owner, I believe the cakes are not as healthy as what she claimed. Having said this; trust me, dun buy from them!

To go for it or not?

It’s a hard decision! Anyway, it’s not me but Terence making the decision for himself. As for me, I am not sure if I should give it a try together with him. Somehow I dun mind and willing to work hard but am afraid of conflicts that might arise when we work together…

Well, spoke to my sister and bro-in-law. They shared the problems they facing etc and warn us about meeting the different kind of people and the amount of money we going to put in before there is returns. Sister said advertising is a expensive investment and since she already spend that amount of money on it, she cannot stop at all.

Hmmm ponder ponder… Anyway, later going to meet up with my friend from Dennis Wee Group, we shall see how it goes Smile

A career seminar

Super shag!

We attended 2 career senimar on Wednesday and Thursday at Toa Payoh, went back home late and thus super tired.

Wednesday was by ECG. Yes that’s the company my sister is in… Thursday was by ERA.

Anyway both seminar was conducted in 2 different style.
ECG has a very professional trainer, Johnny Loh who claim he is an agent too; I mean he really trained professional like a professional trainer. He shared with us on why we should be a agent, the benefit of it and what we need to have as a agent. The seminar started at 7.30pm and ended only at 10.30pm. Quite interesting because it is very interactive.

Whilst for ERA, an agent, Melvin Yeo was assigned to us and he took us to the seminar room and the speaker, Ray Ho started off with a video sharing the company’s achievement etc, which we wasn’t really interested at. Then he took us around the company, sharing what the company provides for us etc and lastly ended the presentation. Then Melvin came to talk to us. Well, we had a good time talking to him, asking tons of questions but…we do have some concerns which i think is not convenient to publish it here lah. The seminar started at 7.30pm and ended around 10pm.
