It’s Cue Cue’s 1st birthday and I baked a cake specially for her. Yeah, I guess it’s considered a success though there are many flaws in it. Hmmm after all this is my first time… the most obvious problem is that the cream cheese wasn’t nicely spread, cake wasn’t really nicely stack… but at least it taste good and humans ate half of it

Initially, I wanted to order a cake for her because Can Can had one on her 1st birthday too, but seems like many blogshop that does cakes for dogs had closed down. I didn’t want to order from the gal who does the durian treats and Can Can’s 1st birthday cake because of some hygiene reasons. Well… we found lots of long hair in her cake and this is so disappointing! US Doggy Bakery is a big NO NO. I simply cannot trust what other people put in the cake and with this kind of owner, I believe the cakes are not as healthy as what she claimed. Having said this; trust me, dun buy from them!

Weather was really bad in the morning. We saw dark clouds and NEA forecast indicates that there will be thunder with gusty winds. Prior to that, it was also announced in the news that the weekend will be really wet, asking us to be beware of heavy rains and floods!

Anyway, we woke up really early and make our way to the HDB Pioneer Service Center near our house, we increased our monthly installment for the house, paid off some money through our CPF and the loan period went from 17 years to 8 years. Of course it means we cannot anyhow quit our job and that we cannot afford to even not work for a month…

Came out of the service center to see HOT sunny weather. LOL, what a drastic change… and we are really happy because it means we can go Sentosa! Check NEA forecast again and it says cloudy I think I can do that job too, just look at the sky and update… what kind of forecast is this?

Went home, pick them up and off we go~

How can I forget to blog about Can Can’s birthday

We were on half day leave, went home slack for few hours before we took her out to Hort Park for a walk. Yes of course Cue Cue got to go out with us too… Seriously took lots of photos because Mummy wanna capture this special day!

Initially wanted to eat steamboat at Mount Faber but called and found out they only do for tour groups now! :S Changed our plan to meet up with Geraldine and Peppy for dinner instead. Went Holland Village, spend almost 30 minutes trying to find a parking lot and later found a lot with Geraldine’s help. Had a nice dinner and chat at NYDC…
